After first crossing paths at a workshop in Porto in 2011, Susana has been involved in several  of Fred’s projects, including a quartet with Chris Cutler and Heike Liss in Zagreb; TaTaTa in  Darmstadt, along with Heike Liss, Okkyung Lee, Lotte Anker, Christine Wodrascka and the  Hessische Rundfunk Big Band; and more recently traveling with the Fred Frith Trio and Heike  in Brazil, Canada and the USA. Their first record Laying Demons to Rest was recorded in 2021  at the Météo Festival in Mulhouse, recorded by Radio France and released on the Rogu’Art  label to rave reviews. The duo is touring in Europe in November 2023 and January 2024
